Who hasn’t dreamed of living in a fairytale at one time or another? Keti Sidamonidze said that she fantasized about it for several years after seeing a “cute kitten mural extravaganza” in 2012 – and now, that dream has become a reality with her bedroom becoming a stunning fairytale world when the lights go out.
Keti said that while she knew she’d end up having something similar to the mural she was so impressed by, she didn’t know how it would happen, confessing, “I’ve no talent for painting!”
So, she says she found artist Giorgi Makharashvili, who was not afraid to experiment with the paints of the “ultraviolet magic world.” She explained the whole concept to the Tbilisi, Georgia artist, and her dream gradually started to shape into a vivid reality.
Keti explained that she can identify with a cat’s love of freedom and was impressed with the way Giorgi interpreted her story into the mesmerizing wall art, noting, “My dear unknown reader, I hope that you too will manage to fulfil your sacred dreams the way I awakened my fantasy with this project.”
Giorgi Makharashvili, who also goes by George Mack, graduated in 2009 from the Faculty of Glass Design at Tbilisi Art Academy. In 2011 he became accomplished as a Master of Fine Arts at the same Academy, where he lectures now, according to his website george-mack.com.
