Summer began just eight days ago, but temperatures are already sizzling across the country, and in many areas throughout the world. Many of us humans cool off by taking a cool dip in a swimming pool, and apparently, some bears do too.
Bruiser the bear keeps cool by jumping into a swimming pool!
A video posted on the Internet last week by Single Vision, an endangered species wildlife facility in Melrose, Florida, showcases a Syrian brown bear named Bruiser having a great time playing in a swimming pool. Just like a kid, perhaps channeling his “inner cub,” the huge bear climbs the ladder, swims around and then comes back for more, the next time, showing off his rather impressive diving technique. Not surprisingly, it became an instant hit.

Single Vision works to educate the public on endangered wildlife and operates solely on sponsors and donations. If you would like to help, or learn more, visit singlevisioninc.org.
The organization explains in its YouTube page: “We only provide the best of the best and will settle for nothing less for our lions, tigers, leopards, panthers, bobcats, bears and other species of exotic animals.
“For Single Vision, the purpose is not to just provide a home for the beautiful exotic species that we house, but meet the animals physical and psychological needs by enriching their lives with daily inter-species play and human interaction outside their daily enclosure.”
