Breathtaking Rental House In Australia Appears To Float Above The Sea

Just off the coast of Southern Australia floats a rather unique luxury rental home. The architects at Australia F2 Architecture  are the brilliant minds behind the design of The Pole House. This house was built using careful tricks of perspective so that it appears to be floating above the picturesque coastal waters.

The real trickery occurs when you are looking directly at the house from the start of the bridge. From any other angle you can see the huge 130 feet pole that holds the building up in place. Yet, no matter how you look at it this house offers a one-of-a-kind experience with sweeping views of Fairhaven Beach and the Great Ocean Road below.

Once you see the luxury accommodation from a different angle you realize the Great Ocean Road runs beneath it, but from other angles the house looks like it is perched 131 feet directly over the water. And with nothing other than gravity holding it up!

One reason why the illusion looks so real is because it’s not entirely an illusion. The Pole House really is lifted 131 feet above the sprawling beach, hence why the views from here are so on-point.

Standing at the entrance, the home literally appears to float like magic above the waters below.

From other angles you can see that the home is supported by a hefty pole–hence how it got its name “The Pole House.”

Eating, cooking, or just watching TV you always have an unbeatable view from every angle in this home. You don’t stay here for the amenities; you stay here for the experience.

The Pole House offers a 1-bedroom and 1-bathroom private sanctuary, ideal for a romantic getaway. Especially considering there are strict rules against bringing children or pets along.

The interior is recently renovated, offering the latest in modern luxury. It might only be a 1-bed/1-bath but this hideaway is rather spacious. Plus, it comes with everything you need to feel like you’re at home.

Including a gourmet kitchen, which you could use to cook up something delicious to serve at the table overlooking vast blue views. At night, pressed between the luxurious sheets on the spacious king bed, this house continues to offer unparalleled views of the ocean waves as they crash and break below.

You mustn’t be afraid of heights in order to cross over the narrow bridge, which is suspended over 100 feet above the ground.
