Bikers often get a reputation for being tough and rough, but time and time again bikers prove they have a sweet side too. Take 32-year-old Pat Doody for example, the biker and sheetmetal worker from South Jersey looks tough as nails but he’s got a heart of gold.
Doody was riding cross-country on his way home from Born Free in California when he stopped at a Nevada gas station to fill up. Here he found a badly burned kitten in need of help. He knew he couldn’t leave the cat behind so he scooped him up, saved his life and named him “Party Cat.”
Doody told Revzilla, “I was at this truck stop getting gas, and this little guy just needed help. He was pretty badly burned, so I picked him up and tucked him inside my vest. We’re feeding him regularly now, so he’s doing better, even though he’s sort of living on the road until we get home.”
Doody added, “He’s been eating tuna fish out of those dry-foil packs you can buy, and his burns are pretty much all healed up except for the little spot on his lip. He’s so chill. He just hangs out in my vest when we get on the road. I’ve never met a cat so calm.”
